Some important years and events in our history:

1938
Kapelludden began to be established as a tent site, largely thanks to the introduction of the first holiday law in Sweden, which gave all employees the right to two weeks' paid holiday.

1978
The mini-golf course at the Kapelludden campsite starts.

1981
The Jonsson family takes over the lease at Kapelludden's campsite.

1987
New lease agreement, for Kapelludden's campsite, with the municipality enables the company to invest in new facilities such as a new service building, a new beach kiosk and more.

1996
A new reception, workshop and service building are being built at Kapelludden. An investment of approx. 8 million.

1998
One of Öland's first and largest outdoor pools is being built directly adjacent to the reception at Kapelludden. An investment of approx. 5 million.

2000
Öland's largest bathhouse, Borgholms Badhus, is being built at the Kapelludden campsite. An investment of approx. 25 million.

2001
22 cottages and a new service building are being completed at Kapelludden. An investment of approx. 19 million.

2015
New service building at Kapelludden, being completed. An investment of approx. 5 million.

2017
Grönhag camping is acquired. An investment of approx. 14 million.

2018
Köpingbaden camping for rent.

2019
Sunset pitch, Borgholm's outer harbour, for rent.

2021/22
Gläntan Superior, completed at Kapelludden. A total of 16 cottages. An investment of approx. 16,5 million.

2022
Klinta camping in Köpingsvik, for rent.

2023
New service building at Grönhag is being completed. At the same time, a new parking lot is being built in Tjusby. Investments of approx.
SEK 9.

2024 -

Total: 102 million invested (2024 not included).
