Tips on things to experience on Öland
Borgholm Castle
Only a few kilometers from our facility. Explore the historical beauty of Borgholm Castle, a ruin dating back to the 1100th century. During the summer, this turns into a lively scene with various events that the family can enjoy together, from concerts to exciting guided tours.

Sollidens Castle
Solliden Castle is the royal family's summer residence and its beautiful gardens are open to the public. The gardens are a peaceful oasis where the family can stroll and admire the variety of flowers and plants that bloom in abundance during the summer months. Intimate but fast-paced concerts are also played here during the summer.
The coastal road
Perhaps Sweden's most beautiful coastal road can be found on Öland's northwestern coastline. Here you will find beautiful mills, pebble beaches, raukas and magnificent views. Perfect excursion destination for a day. Pack the coffee basket, bring swimming trunks and bike and just cycle along the beautiful road.
Köpingsvik Bay
Like abroad but at home. Chalk white beach with deep shallow water. The perfect beach for families with children. There are also a number of restaurants here during the summer.
Long Jan
Sweden's highest lighthouse is located at Öland's southern cape. Here you can climb the lighthouse and see Öland's magnificent expanses from above. You can also see different birds as this area is world famous for its bird watching.
If you're lucky, you can also see seals basking in the sun on a rock out in the water.
